The order of Phoenix

Many a brave warrior
Grimmauld place does house,
On the shabby doorsteps of No. 12
Many a knights do rouse.
They fight for a cause,
A cause worth keep;
And they heal many wounds,
As blood their injuries weep.
Shacklebolt, Lupin, Tonks, Vance
And many, many more.
Black, Moody, Fletcher ,Weasley,
With Dumbledore at their core.
Battling against dark forces,
Struggling to free
The bound, imprisoned masses
From all the horrors they may have to see.
And as they struggle
To liberate the innocent,
They forgive those who caused
More harm than they had meant.
And seeing the guiltless
Being caused more pain,
They get ready to battle,
To leap into the fire once again.

Hogsmeade

The regular haunts of hogsmeade,
The three broomsticks and madam rosmerta's oak-matured mead.
The delicious warmth of the friendly inn,
Indulging in it's atmosphere is never a sin.
It's time for some delicious butterbeer,
You've got the permission slip for hogsmeade, so never fear.
Zonko's joke shop
has marvelous and amazing tricks that are never a flop.
What with dungbombs and dr.Filibuster's fireworks
Fred and George fill their pockets, making mischief is noble work.
With heavy pockets and light moneybags
It's time to go to honeydukes where deluxe sugar quills are all the latest fad.
What with Bertie botts' every flavor beans
It's a risk with every mouthful, and no flavor is what it first seems.
Levitating sherbet balls
Honeydukes best chocolate, those acid pops are just droll.
Bloody lollipops and cockroach clusters
And lemon drops as we walk outside and see three broomsticks' Christmas posters.
Then a short walk to Sirius' hideout and back,
We might miss supper if we don't hurry and are slack.
From a distance we see the Hog's head
And it's sign of a boar with a severed head.
With it's dusty glasses and dusty floor
And veil-covered customers,
I wouldn't recommend you to book a bed.
Now as we near the shrieking shack
With its boarded windows, it looks deserted , sinister and black.
The most severely haunted building in Britain
Where in the past, ghosts yowled and screeched without restrain.
Ah! The Hogwarts castle is in sight
And it's magnificent windows are shining bright,
Even the grandness of Hogsmeade
Cannot extinguish Hogwarts' might!

The keeper of the keys

The keeper of the keys and grounds,
Digging his vegetable patch and creating huge mounds.
Behind lies his cottage with it's single, cosy room
And next to it's chimney, hangs a beautiful crescent moon.
With fang the boar hound at his heels,
Hagrid troops inside for his evening meal.
Just then a knock on the wide, wooden door,
Too used to the three visitors, he doesn't have to guess anymore.
Beef casserole, rock cakes and a cup of steaming tea.
Hagrid's cooking might be terrible, but no one impolite wants to be.
So by the warm fireplace they sit,
Next to the bed with a patchwork quilt
And recount stories of the past:
When Hagrid came to fetch Harry, and the spell on Dudley he had cast
Which gave him a pig's tail and his parents a fright,
When Norbert came out of his egg and set Hagrid's beard alight.
And how he sent the Norwegian ridgeback to Romania with a teddy bear,
When Hagrid befriended a giant spider, from whom most people would run from fear.
Fluffy the three -headed , giant, slobbering dog
And all the fierce descendants of Aragog.
Buckbeak, the stormy-grey hippogriff most proud,
And blast-ended skrewts with their bangs and bursts most loud.
And eventually Grawp, Hagrid's half-brother,
Just like Hagrid, abandoned by fridwulfa, their mother.
For the night, there end all the stories,
It's time for the three to go back to their dormitories.
And for Hagrid to lie down on his bed,
To dream of Madame Maxime and creatures most people dread.

Thank you! Thank you! I feel so appreciated! 58 pageviews is a LOT. I felt like I owed you all something, so I put in an extra poem ( which is my worst ,FYI). Luna is my favorite character from the series and I feel I haven't done her justice. :( look out for the next post later this week!

The Lovegood Oddity

Oh! She was weird alright,
Xenophilius Lovegood's daughter;
But nobody knew her plight
And what she had to suffer.
She stood her ground,
Believing the existence
of weird creatures.
She and her views were scorned,
Yet she was never reduced to tears.
Whether it be gulping plimpies,
Wrackspurts or Nargles
She distributed without a care,
Those quibblers that came in parcels.
Her bravery was to be marveled at.
In the face of danger, she didn't lose her head.
Instead , she made her usual comments,
That were liable to make her enemies
crack up with laughter instead.
Voldemort might come,Voldemort might go,
Luna remains the same.
All I can hope is after the war,
(Since it's not mentioned in the book)
She finally got some well-deserved fame.

Oops!

Looks like the last picture was a bit too big, my bad! If you're wondering about the kind of animation used in the pictures I put up, it was anime. Anime is basically a Japanese technique of drawings and sketches especially used for Japanese animation ( if you have younger siblings who torture you to give them the remote, you must be knowing about basic anime stuff like doraemon). Also, you might've noticed that FINALLY, a technically challenged person like yours truly, learnt how to type poems without messing up the lines (yay me!)

Animation is so beautiful, it makes me cry! :'(

The best animation you can ever find for Harry potter characters!!!

The Sorting Hat's New Song

When I was new
, and this school too;                                                                                                                             From near and far,
came four founders known afar.                                                                                                      Godric was known to be the bravest
, Rowena ,the smartest.
Salazar was known for his sly and cunning,
Helga was staunchest and truest.
There came a time for them to leave,
when none could stay no more.
And I was left to sort the mess,
new students back and forth.
You may belong in Griffyndor,
where courage is most prized.
You may belong in Hufflepuff ,
where they are loyal till they die.
Ravenclaw, where you may find,
 those of marvelous wit.
Or yet in Slytherin ,
 where the slyest sit.
Many years passed,
and the Hogwarts war surpassed.
All the four houses, divided and yet united,
Fought against the darkest wizard yet sighted.
Many we lost, but yet we won,
The biggest war for centuries to come.
I'm still here, the cleverest hat in the world
Put me on your head, you'll see.
I'll look underneath those curls of yours, and tell you your destiny.
