The Magic Lives On

I was browsing through some of my favourite HP fanfictions the other day and I realized how some of the very best happen to be about the next generation. It is heart-warming to see that though the book series has ended, the story has not. 

The Magic Above All

The root of all magic,
from which stem the rest,
to branch out in all directions,
is the magic oldest and best.

From which all originate,
and which can defeat them all,
this magic is one that even Muggles have,
whether in quantities big or small.

Deep within the heart of hearts,
this power lies, brimming.
It's why we laugh, and why we cry,
and what makes our life worth living.

It is why Harry, though in close contact
with the Dark Lord's mind, did never turn evil;
And why Hermione's, though deserted by Ron,
in helping Harry, did her fill.

It's why Severus defied the Dark Lord
and continued to help the fair side,
and why Lily stood in front of her son
in a desperate attempt to protect him, and died.

Dumbledore's favorite solution to
all that is hateful and worrying ;
To all the evil that infects our world,
this magic can be healing.

It is what sends people to God's abode, above.
It is what You-Know-Who lacked,
It is the ability to love.

Long Time, No See...

Hello Everyone!
I'm cowering beneath my working table right now, hoping you are not going to exterminate me for not posting since the December of last year. I am sincerely sorry for my long absence , and I have no excuses good enough to abandon potterheads such as yourselves. I can only ask humbly for your forgiveness.
I hope you are looking forward to more poems, because I certainly have some in store for you.
