The sadness of Severus Snape

Spinner's end,
Lonely, without a friend.
His parents who endlessly quarreled,
Till he found a girl at whom he marveled.
The half-blood prince
Of lily Evans, caught a glimpse.
A bond of friendship so unbreakable

For petunia, the greed of magic was not sustainable.
Days spent in the meadows to no end.
At his side, a dear, Close friend.
Vanished from his mind all his worry,
Till at Hogwarts Their friendship became blurry.
The snake and the lion broke the chains offriendship
Which used to be as strong as iron.
James threatened what was left,
And soon Snape's was completely bereft.
The cursed word which he uttered
Left her absolutely bewildered.
The apologies which he later muttered
We're left unconsidered.
Snape's never managed to suture
The wound that was left unsealed,
As he saw her make her future
With the man with whom his enmity was yet unsealed.
All his services to the dark lord,
all his loyalty, all his servitude
Snapped of their own accord,
When he heard him make plans
For the death of the girl
Whom he still adored.
He pleaded with Dumbledore,
To protect her. Her and her family,
Though her husband he still did deplore.
But all his plans were ruined
As the fidelius charm broke
And lily gave up her life
And in misery ,all he could utter
Was a pathetic croak.
Only the memory ,
Of the innocent, silver doe
Sustained him while he attempted
To look over her son.
Yet, to the wishes of the son of his arch-enemy
He never did bow.
Until he died
Looking at the green eyes that
Reminded him of her.
She who had died,
But had left her imprint
In the memories of Severus
And

To Hogwarts, my Beloved

History has blessed
The old castle with the best.
It sees the knew,
Yet retains what it knew.
Thousands of years,
But it's ending never nears.
Wizards and witches have walked
In your corridors and have chalked
Their stories deep within
The stones that make your walls,
That may crumble,
But your pride never falls.
All the intricate details of your history
Are destined to remain a mystery.
Secrets hid, fears rid,
All that your students ever did
Are known to you, and to you only
For many abandoned students,
You were a family.
The four houses had different dormitories,
And amongst themselves they formed enemies;
Yet you united them under one huge roof,
Still allowing them to follow their own destiny.
You taught them, educated them,
Made them who they were.
More than just a monument,
To the sufferings your students bore.
You are still here,
A home to lost souls.
Always a comfort,
To a home sick child who moans.

B'day boy!!!!

" The one with the power to vanquish the dark lord approaches...born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies...and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the dark lord knows not...and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives...the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies..."

Obituary for old wisdom

So young in time, so old in experience,
Embittered by loss of family;
Left to care for his brother and sister
 whom he couldn't appreciate fully.
The trophies he had won lay gathering dust and scum
And his form which, with brilliancy had shined
Faded to a common hue
Yet, he never whined.
But in his heart he regretted
The loss of his parents and the responsibility he had been given.
He wanted to glow, he wanted fame.
But leave his siblings, no he wouldn't.
For he loved his sister with her moments of weird.
He loved his goat-charming brother, but the loss of his glory still seared.
Then came along he, with evil in his eye and a short springy beard.
The friendship was instantaneous.
Though in other circumstances, it might not have been.
Albus was alone,
And in grindelwald, he found company.
Turning a blind eye to the evil in his friend
Which he knew one day would break forth,
Into marvelous speculations his mind would fly,
Refusing to return to earth.
The deathly hallows were the duet's dream.
They discussed them with vigor and glee.
But in forgetting Aberforth and Ariana,
Albus forgot he wasn't free.
Then the day arrived, the day he had feared
Yet had refused to believe;
And his brilliant young friend had unleashed the darkness within him,
From which himself Albus had tried to deceive.
His sister lay still upon the floor,
Her gentle soul snuffed out,
For a moment the brothers were shocked,
Then the younger began to shout.
" it's all your fault that she is dead!" he said to Albus
"You and that friend of yours!"
Hearing these words and knowing them a true,
Albus was filled with grief and shock.
Years later , it still rang in his head,
This accusation of his brother's.
But he found solace in a boy with unruly, black hair
Who had eyes just like his mother's.

So sorry!!

My school restarted and I have been so busy that I have practically no time to breathe. Well, now that I'm back to blogging every week, I won't waste any more time........
